Easy Palak Paneer Recipe
Here is what you need to do to make the perfect palak paneer.
- Spinach puree
- Ice cold water
- Cottage cheese
- Garam masala
- Cumin powder
- Red chillies
The very first thing you need to do is boil your spinach leaves. Cut the leaves finely so that it gets easier for you to blanch them later. After you have boiled it, immediately put the leaves in ice cold water. This cold water will restore the green colour of spinach leaves.
Leave them there for 10 minutes and take out the spinach leaves.
In a separate pan melt some butter but make sure it doesn’t get very brown. Add in finely chopped onions and wait for them to turn brown. While the onions are getting prepared, in a blender blend all your spinach and make a spinach puree. After the onions have been done, add in ginger and garlic paste and wait for them to be completely dissolved. Add in chopped tomatoes and stir. Add in all your spices, cumin powder, little red chillies, salt and the ultimate garam masala. Add in your spinach puree and keep mixing until the mixture starts to leave fat.

Add in your cottage cheese. You have to use at least 200 to 250 grams of cottage cheese to give it the taste it needs.
Let it simmer for a while and turn off the stove.
